Svalövsbygdens Pastorat is seeking a Cemetery Worker for a summer temporary position starting on June 2, 2025.

In Svalövsbygdens Pastorat, there are 9 churches with associated cemeteries. Currently, we have eight employed caretakers and four seasonal cemetery workers. During peak season, the existing team is reinforced with 4 summer workers.

About the Summer Temporary Position

As a Cemetery Worker, you will contribute to keeping our cemeteries beautiful and well-maintained. Your daily tasks mainly consist of green space maintenance such as weeding graves and paths, caring for flower beds, mowing grass, trimming grass, planting, and hedge trimming.

Who We Are Looking For

To fit into our wonderful team, you should be positive and able to meet people in both joy and sorrow. Since the work is outdoors and in all weather conditions, good physical fitness is required. As a cemetery worker, you will support the teams at the cemetery where the need is currently greatest. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety and finds it easy to collaborate with different types of people. Independent work occurs, so the ability to take initiative is important.

A valid driver's license (B) and access to a personal vehicle are required.
