The Laröd Health Center is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with over 6,800 registered patients and 300 registered children at the associated child health center (BVC). We have recently opened a branch focused on health promotion, prevention, and early interventions. The branch is located in the adjacent area, where we offer consultations with psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, and a child health center. In the near future, we will expand with a medical clinic at the branch.

We are a health center with well-planned and newly renovated premises with free parking nearby. We have 35 dedicated employees working in various professional categories. We offer child health services (BVC), medical consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory clinics, and elderly care consultations. Here we also have occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists. Additionally, we are proud to be an academic health center (AVC), which means research assignments from the Center for Primary Care Research (CPF), building bridges between the academic world and primary care. We participate in several research studies on lifestyle habits, mental health/illness, and hypertension.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a district nurse who wants to be responsible for our district nurse clinic!

We offer you the opportunity to develop our district nurse clinic based on the unique professional area of the district nurse. Here you can utilize your subject knowledge in nursing, medical science, public health science, and healthcare pedagogy. The work is carried out in close collaboration with experienced colleagues who, in addition to their work at the health center, also have assignments as wound consultants, regional professional representatives for nurses, and research-oriented academic health center coordinators. The position also includes some digital consultations and telephone advice. Continuity and person-centered care are important for both us and our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and have further education as a district nurse. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care.

You as a person are development-oriented, driven, and have an easy time collaborating. Additionally, you have a good ability to work independently. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability for the position.
