ABOUT THE COMPANY

At Saint-Gobain Sekurit in Eslöv, glass panes for the automotive industry are manufactured. With over 90 years of experience in automotive glass production, products are delivered to major vehicle manufacturers such as Volvo, Volkswagen, Skoda, Ford, and Jaguar.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In the role of machine operator, you will both operate machines and drive a forklift as part of your duties. You will divide your weekly working hours approximately 50/50 between the machines and the forklift.

When you are at the machine, you will work a lot with monitoring. Control of the machines is done digitally while some steps in the process are more practical; where you handle various tools and inspect the finished product. As a forklift driver, you will drive a counterbalance forklift within production. You will transport glass between different lines, departments, and warehouses within the factory.

Examples of tasks:

• Monitoring and process control
• Conducting quality checks
• Documentation
• Working with 5S and improvement work
• Forklift driving with counterbalance forklift B1

EXTENT OF THE POSITION

• Employment type: Full-time, the employment begins with a 6-month fixed-term contract.
• Start: Immediately with reservation for notice period.
• Working hours: 3-shift. As other shift forms occur, you need to be flexible with working hours.

WORKING HOURS 3-SHIFT

• Morning: Monday-Friday 06.30-14.30
• Night: Sunday-Thursday 22.30-06.30
• Afternoon: Monday-Thursday 14.30-22.30 and Friday 14.30-21.00.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in industry or production
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driving license B and access to a car
• Forklift license B1 and driving experience (requirement)

YOUR PROFILE

To succeed and thrive in the role, we believe you have the desire to develop and be a good ambassador for Job&Talent. You have several years of experience in the operator profession and have an affinity for technology; perhaps you are a vehicle mechanic by trade. Behind the wheel of the forklift, you are a safe driver who possesses a strong safety mindset. In your working style, you are responsible, structured, and detail-oriented. Furthermore, you have the ability to take initiative and can switch between different tasks when needed.
