The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and after-school care to preschool class, primary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, adult education, and various commissioned training programs. Our vision is that every student leaves school rich in knowledge and convinced of their ability to create their future together with others. All students should also remember their school time as safe, fun, and educational. The various activities of the Education Administration have a clear common focus on all children and students' conditions for completing their studies.

We are now looking for a preschool teacher for Finngösa Preschool!

At Finngösa Preschool, there are three departments, where children are divided into age-appropriate groups. Here, you will work alongside wonderful, engaged colleagues who focus on children, learning, and development. The preschool's activities are characterized by commitment, safety, and warmth. Exploratory and joyful learning is given ample space in everyday life.

Finngösa Preschool is part of a preschool area that consists of three preschools: Finngösa Preschool, Stora Terrassens Preschool, and Ugglums Preschool. Together, we are 27 dedicated employees. As the principal, I am driven by seeing education develop based on the competencies and strengths we have at the preschools. It is important that we have a respectful approach to everyone we meet in our activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for an engaged preschool teacher for Finngösa Preschool. With us, the child is always at the center, and we strive to provide children with a safe, educational, and fun time together with us at preschool. Our preschool is inspired by Reggio Emilia's philosophy.

As a preschool teacher, you will work to create a quality education for our children based on relational learning. The preschool is a democratic meeting place that values diversity, listening, and participation. It is a place for shared learning, the creation of knowledge, culture, and identity. The educator's task is to listen to the children's experiences, thoughts, and ideas and to conduct teaching where the preschool's goals are in focus to further challenge the children.

In our preschool, the environments are changeable and adapted based on the children's interests. Children should have the opportunity to experience enriching encounters and feel that we become better together. Children should be met with respect in the place where they are; they come to preschool with their own experiences, knowledge, expectations, thoughts, and ideas. In our preschool, the goal is for every child to dare and be able to take the lead role in their own life.

The workplace is characterized by a good community, enthusiasm, and professionalism based on the mission. We have established structures for pedagogical development and collegial learning for all educators.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher with an interest in Reggio Emilia's philosophy as well as multicultural and language-stimulating work. If you have experience with Reggio Emilia's philosophy "The Hundred Languages," we consider it an asset. Likewise, if you have experience and interest in aesthetic expressions. You are curious and creative as a person and have a good ability to create relationships and trust.

In addition to the above, we want you to:

• Be driven to create an education where children can develop and acquire new knowledge based on their conditions, thoughts, and experiences.
• See the child as competent, where their curiosity and interests guide education and teaching.
• Believe that every child should have the same opportunities to try and develop abilities and interests without limitations.
