About the Role

As a Communications Officer at MediCarrier, you will work in a broad and varied role, handling multiple tasks and issues simultaneously. You will report to the Head of Communications and be part of the communications department. Together with the Head of Communications, you will work on strategic and tactical communication and provide operational communication support to managers and colleagues. In this role, you will work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization.

Your Main Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development work of the communications department to achieve set goals and work on developing MediCarrier into a communicative organization. An important part of the job is to build and strengthen internal communication and lead networks for this purpose. You will be responsible for coordinating and developing communication plans, as well as producing and designing simple printed materials and presentations. You will work in the Adobe package (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) for basic graphic production.

You will also contribute to:

Creating clear and audience-specific communication in the company's channels (web, intranet, and social media) based on the organization's goals and needs.
Monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating completed communication efforts.
Coordinating and managing the company's customer surveys (NKI and NPS).
Collaborating on communication issues both within MediCarrier and with Region Stockholm.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you need to have a degree in media and communication science from a university or equivalent education. You have several years of relevant experience working broadly with communication.

It is advantageous if you also have:

extensive experience in change communication
good knowledge of editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and an eye for color and design
knowledge of accessibility requirements for various media and channels
experience working in a similar public organization (e.g., familiar with LOU requirements)

You are quick to learn, adept at grasping facts even in complex situations, and have high computer literacy. You are used to working independently. You have initiative and aim to work in the best interest of the organization through a development-oriented approach. You can drive communication issues even when everything is not in place, and you have the ability to create and maintain good working relationships, are service-oriented, work in a structured and efficient manner, and ensure timely completion. You can work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
