Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Job Responsibilities

As a Local Controller, you play a key role in managing and analyzing financial and operational data related to our property management. You act as a link between the financial and operational activities and work closely with several key individuals within the organization. Your work contributes to ensuring accurate documentation, good financial control, and efficient administration of lease agreements and property data.

In the role of local controller, you will actively work in the department's property system, where you will also participate in developing its functions and user-friendliness. The role requires a combination of analytical skills, a forward-looking perspective, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.

The position of local controller is directly subordinate to the group manager for local supply at the Real Estate Department.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze local lease agreements (rents, index adjustments, contract periods).
  • Update and ensure the quality of local data in our property system, including drawing management.
  • Participate in the preparation of documentation and preparations for lease negotiations.
  • Assist with monitoring budgets, forecasts, and costs related to premises.
  • Analyze deviations and identify improvements for local cost monitoring.
  • Create reports, key figures, and analyze local-related data.
  • Compile reporting to authorities and contribute to process development within local supply.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education in economics, property management, or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial management, lease administration, or property economics.
  • Good IT skills, preferably experience with property systems (e.g., Faciliate).
  • Strong analytical ability and experience interpreting lease agreements, financial reports, and property data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred qualifications include experience in:

  • Working within a real estate department of a government agency.
  • Working at a Swedish higher education institution such as a university or college.
  • Working with property systems such as Landlord and Faciliate.
  • Experience working with drawing management and CAD.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and can perform their work independently. You are results-oriented, proactive, and solution-oriented. Since the work involves many internal contact paths, this places high demands on your ability to communicate, collaborate, build trust, and be a team player. As a person, you are calm, stable, and driven by a desire to change and improve. You are used to taking responsibility for your work, structuring your tasks, and driving your cases forward to delivery.

We place great importance on your personality and engagement.
