Do you want to work in an exciting environment where you can combine broad HR work with challenges unique to the shipping industry? In this role, you will be part of a warm and professional HR team that supports both our land-based employees at the office in Värtahamnen and our fantastic crew at sea aboard the Swedish-flagged vessel Silja Symphony.

The role of HR Generalist is a broad position, where you have great opportunity to structure and drive your work. You work independently but always in close collaboration with the HR team. If you are driven by renewing and developing processes, this is the right workplace for you. You report to the HR manager and are part of a team of four employees with different areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Recruitment assignments
• HR support to managers and employees
• Coordination of training
• Participate in recruitment fairs/events
• Create and implement new routines and processes, as well as improve and streamline existing ones
• Ongoing administration and HR service

We are looking for someone who is positive, attentive, and structured, with a genuine ability to create and nurture relationships. You are confident in your role, responsible, and unpretentious, with a problem-solving approach. As a skilled communicator, you thrive in a dynamic environment and see change as an opportunity for development.

Your profile:

• Relevant education in HR or equivalent from university/college
• At least 2 years of experience in similar HR tasks.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
• Experience with recruitment systems and/or HR systems is an advantage.

The position is a full-time temporary contract from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026. Salary is according to agreement. Start date is immediate or as agreed. Business trips and some work outside office hours may occur.
