Engaged Receptionist Wanted!

Our client, Stockholms studentbostäder (SSSB), is a foundation established in 1958 by the central organization of Stockholm's student unions (SSCO). Then, just as today, they work with the vision that everyone who invests in their studies should have a home to call their own. Stockholms studentbostäder was founded by students who wanted to do something about the housing shortage in Stockholm. With over 8,500 student apartments in Stockholm, they are the largest in Sweden and continue to build more housing - because they want to make room for even more students. The team at SSSB is responsible for reception, phone, chat, and email for housing rentals, contract signing, and administration. They strive to provide the best possible service to students and partners.

About the Role

As a receptionist, you are their first point of contact and the face of the organization for visitors. You play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. Your main focus is to staff the reception and provide service to visitors, but also to handle administrative tasks. You will also support others in the team as needed.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting visitors at the reception.
• Answering questions via email and phone, as well as managing key handovers.
• Registering and updating information in the system.
• Ensuring that the reception and adjacent areas are in top condition – restocking materials, keeping conference rooms, pantry, and kitchen organized.
• Handling simpler administrative tasks related to rentals.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in service work, preferably in reception, customer service, or similar.
• Is communicative and enjoys meeting people.
• Is structured and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Has good computer skills and finds it easy to learn new systems.
• Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About the Employment

The position is full-time with office hours starting around the turn of the year. The position will be a consultancy assignment through us at StudentConsulting, but you will work alongside SSSB with an office in central Stockholm.
