Backend Developer at ATG

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible, together with the team, for ATG's central reporting and settlement system that handles large volumes of transactions with high accuracy requirements.
• Work with Oracle PL/SQL alongside the team to continuously develop, maintain, and adapt the system in line with business priorities.
• Collaborate closely with other experienced developers and stakeholders.
• Contribute your experience and expertise to design data models and build high-performance solutions to ensure quality and performance.
• Apply relevant design principles suitable for a financial reporting and settlement system.
• Ensure data quality, security, data integrity, and performance, as well as implement automated processes for validation.
• Be actively involved in migrating the current system to the next generation solution, where we are exploring how cloud technologies can add value, and where you can be part of that transition with the right interest.

We are now looking for an experienced and driven Backend Developer with extensive experience in Oracle and PL/SQL. You will have the opportunity to work with an advanced system built in PL/SQL that handles large transaction volumes with a focus on calculations and transformations to ensure accurate financial reporting and monitoring for both internal and external stakeholders. The team's mission is to ensure the financial flow for ATG's gaming products online and in-store. Within the team, we work according to agile principles with support from roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, and we follow a modern agile working method. You will be part of our larger Business Intelligence team.

You understand the importance of actively contributing to continuous improvements in code and working methods and keeping your own skills up to date. You have good communication skills and express yourself fluently in Swedish and English. We would like you to have a relevant higher education or equivalent competence and experience in:

• Agile teamwork.
• Extensive experience in advanced development in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Deep knowledge of how Oracle as a database works to optimize and design effectively.
• Handling large data volumes with a focus on transformations and quality, preferably with a financial focus.
• Understanding AWS and the opportunities cloud services can provide.
• Knowledge of data architecture, design, and data modeling principles.
• Experience in transaction-intensive operations with high demands on reliability, testing and quality, security, and performance.

Meritorious:

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Solace.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and the value it can provide in the long term.
