On behalf of a client, we are now looking for a remote PHP developer. Our client is an owner-led company that helps online retailers increase their sales through smart conversion optimization. Our client's solution is an in-house developed, modern SaaS service for e-commerce, where a cluster of web servers (with PHP backend) handles hundreds of millions of requests per month. They offer a great opportunity to both develop and challenge yourself as a system developer – a fantastic opportunity for you who want to take the next step or who have previous experience with large-scale SaaS services. The company was founded in 2000, has 26 employees, and offices in Malmö and Stockholm.

You will work from home, which means you can work from anywhere in the world. You should have access to a quiet and calm room and a stable internet connection.

Your qualifications:

Requirements

At least 3 years of previous experience as a PHP developer

Understanding of OOP/MVC architecture and modern frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel

Experience with databases using MySQL

Meritorious

Educated in computer science, engineering, or equivalent at a college/university, with a focus on programming

Experience in e-commerce or API development

Elastic Search

Redis

RabbitMQ or SQS

Micro Services

API (OpenAPI, JSON Schema, OAuth 2.0)

TDD – Test Driven Development

Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Full-time. Permanent employment. Fixed salary, according to agreement. Start date: immediately.
