We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lab Systems Administrator to manage, configure, and troubleshoot complex testing environments for audio and video quality systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux and Windows system administration, testbed setup, and issue resolution using advanced debugging tools and scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Administration:

• Setup, configuration, and administration of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Install and configure devices with macOS, LinuxOS, ChromeOS, WindowsOS, and Android as per project requirements.

1. Testbed Management:

• Perform end-to-end setup of testbeds, including Gateway (Linux OS), Audiobox (Windows/Linux), and Phonebox setups, following detailed setup guidelines.
• Register and configure devices in the Device Registry.

1. Issue Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Debug Videobox/Audiobox server issues, including services, broken ports, upgrades, and faulty audio devices.
• Monitor DUT health, identify errors through dashboards, and execute recovery actions.
• Utilize dashboards for project health, device configuration, and error triage.

1. Automation and Debugging:

• Write and troubleshoot Python scripts, shell scripts, and configuration files.
• Debug issues using error logs, test grid data, and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve code-related issues.

1. Device and Application Maintenance:

• Set up and upgrade Magewell-connected devices, including BIOS configurations.
• Monitor and update applications such as Teams, Webex, and Zoom on all devices.
• Replace and reconfigure audio/video hardware as required.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of setup processes, troubleshooting actions, and resolutions.
• Provide insights through weekly metrics and dashboards, ensuring testbed health and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS setup and administration.
• Experienced with Shell scripting, Python Scripts, and various OS models available in the market.
