Job Description

As a data engineer with us, you will help build and maintain our shared data platform, a central component that helps our colleagues make smarter and faster decisions. You will have the opportunity to integrate and combine exciting data sources – everything from attraction statistics and visitor flows to e-commerce data – and ensure that data quality always meets the highest standards.

The role also involves automating and optimizing data flows to create a smooth and efficient journey from source systems to analysis. You will work closely with our BI developers and analysts to realize new insights and ideas. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the team and grow with us in an environment where every new idea is welcomed and appreciated.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SQL, PySpark/Python in a professional environment.
• Experience working with Azure's data-related services and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Previous experience developing and maintaining a data warehouse.
• Ability to work independently and carry out projects from idea to implementation.
• Relevant education in computer science, system development, or a related field.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience from the entertainment industry or other businesses focused on experiences and guest interactions.
• Knowledge of dataops principles or similar frameworks for modern data management.
• Likes carousels.

Conditions

The position is a full-time permanent employment with an initial probationary period. You will have your workplace at Gröna Lund on Djurgården and be part of our Digital department, where you work closely with system developers and IT specialists. In this role, you will report directly to our Head of Data and Decision Support.
