Business Controller at Salinity

About the Role

As a Business Controller at Salinity, you will play a central role in the company's financial management and contribute with analysis and follow-up to support both business managers and executive groups. You are part of the finance team and work closely with the CFO, actively contributing to driving the business forward through analysis, reporting, and follow-up. In the role of Business Controller, you are instrumental in the budget and forecast process and ensure monthly closings and financial reporting. You have many points of contact within the various companies in the group, both in Sweden and abroad, and enjoy working closely with the business.

As a Business Controller, you also work continuously to proactively improve and optimize processes for a growing business.

Main Responsibilities

• Sales and profitability monitoring
• Budget and forecast work
• Ad-hoc analyses
• Product owner for BI tools
• Contribute to the closing process through analysis and reporting
• Improve and develop reports and decision-making support

Suitable Background

You are an experienced Business Controller who is confident in your role and has a solid understanding of financial flows and financial analysis. You have probably worked in a smaller company or a small group, and it is positive if you have experience from a manufacturing company. You have post-secondary education in economics, preferably from a university, and you are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing. You have very good knowledge of Excel and experience with various business systems, and if you also have experience with BI tools, that is positive. You are a team player who is flexible, down-to-earth, and has a positive attitude. You have a strong drive for progress and are comfortable with change. As you have many points of contact, you are good at building relationships and are communicative.
