Project Manager for Suicide Prevention

As a project manager, you will be placed in the municipal management office's staff. In the staff, there are about ten specialists who all work on development and move the operations forward in their areas. Here you will have colleagues with high engagement and great drive. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In connection with the new national strategy for mental health and suicide prevention, Klippan Municipality, together with the region, has identified a need to scale up suicide prevention efforts. Therefore, we are now looking for an engaged project manager who wants to help us significantly advance in this area!

Your main task will be to produce an action plan during your project period that will guide us forward in our work. Much is already being done in our operations today, so a large part of the initial work will involve mapping existing efforts. Evaluation of methods and activities to achieve the greatest possible effect will also be included.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Community-oriented education in, for example, public health science, political science, or sociology, or equivalent higher education.
• Experience in public health work or psychiatry.
• Experience in leading and driving projects, processes, coordination, and change work.
• Experience and knowledge in the public sector and primary healthcare is not a must, but desirable.

As a person, we see that you need to be self-driven, structured, and have a solution-focused approach. Much of the work will involve dialogue with our various operations, and you need to be attentive and communicative.
