Workplace Description
As a program planner, you will be part of a group of 12 employees in the Program Planning Unit, which is a unit within the Educational Department at LTH's office.
We who work here have many different points of contact and collaborations, both within the department and with other parts of LTH and Lund University. Communication and solution focus are important parts of our daily work. The Educational Department also includes admissions, scheduling, and examinations.

Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility
The primary task of the program planner is to be administratively responsible for coordinating one or more program management teams. The work includes preparation and follow-up of the programs' work, educational offerings, handling of individual cases, contacts with institutions, other programs, and committees within LTH. The work requires a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize, and involves many contacts with both students and employees in various parts of the operations.
As a program planner, you will be part of one or more program management teams responsible for the development and quality of our educational programs. The program planner has a special responsibility for ensuring a legally secure handling and that the program management follows the laws, regulations, and administrative rules that apply to the higher education sector and Lund University.
Furthermore, as a program planner, you and your colleagues will also work on developing routines and administrative processes. The work is complex and follows an annual cycle, meaning that many seemingly separate parts are interconnected, and how they are executed is significant for the whole. Other tasks within educational administration may also occur.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position include:
- Higher education or education and/or experience deemed equivalent.
- Well-developed organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience in similar tasks at a university or equivalent.
- Experience working with study administrative individual cases, e.g., credit transfer cases.
- Good ability and experience working in various study administrative systems such as Ladok, NyA, etc.
- Good knowledge of the regulations applicable to the higher education sector.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has a good ability to work independently but can also collaborate with many people in different roles. You have a flexible working style and a good ability to structure and prioritize tasks and can handle a work situation where many different tasks need to be solved simultaneously in a dynamic environment, with periods of high tempo. Furthermore, you are proactive and service-oriented.
Desirable for the position is:
- Experience working with education in the technical field.
Consideration will be given to how the applicant, through their experience and competence, is assessed to complement and strengthen the administrative work within the unit and contribute to its future development.
Other
The position is a six-month temporary contract with a workload of 100 percent. Desired start date in August 2025 or by agreement.
