Our customers are primarily found in industries such as Power & Energy, Metallurgy, and Chemicals, all of which require protective clothing of the highest quality.

With sales subsidiaries in 12 countries, the Tranemo Group has experienced rapid growth in recent years and generates a turnover of over 750 MSEK. We are now looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of the next generation of flame-resistant workwear.

About the Role

The role of Product Manager is an absolute key position within the Tranemo Group. For the right person, this is one of the most challenging, inspiring, and fun jobs available. You own and steer the development of our innovative range of flame-resistant workwear. The CEO previously held this role, but due to the company's rapid expansion, the management team needs to grow.

• As the owner of the product range, you are responsible for ensuring that Tranemo has a competitive and profitable offering.
• You lead the cross-functional product council where decisions are made regarding the assortment, ensuring that holistic solutions meet customer needs, are competitive, and efficient in internal processes.
• You drive our larger collections from a product lifecycle perspective, ensuring we always have the right development projects in the pipeline and the right launches underway.
• You are responsible for competitor and trend monitoring.
• You act as the buyer in close collaboration with Product Innovation, Product Development, and Marketing.
• Together with Marketing, you are responsible for product launches towards our 12 sales subsidiaries in Europe.
• You are involved in pricing, forecasting, and other internal processes.
• You work cross-functionally and report to the CEO.
• You are part of the management team and have some personnel responsibility.

• A structured visionary with the ability to paint a picture of and sell future innovations.
• Comfortable in a multifaceted "hub" role.
• Good at listening, collaborating, and positively influencing your contacts within the company.
• Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of an audience in both Swedish and English.
• Living within commuting distance to Tranemo so you can be on-site most days of the week.
• Ready and eager to take on one of the company's most important roles in a market-leading company.

Knowledge & Skills

• Academically educated, likely at the master's level.
• A few years of professional experience, perhaps as a Product Manager at an innovation company or as a strategy consultant.
• Understanding and knowledge of textile processes.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
