At MECA Swedish Auto Repair, you will find an exciting and varied leadership role in a workshop that is one of Gothenburg's highest-rated (4.8 out of 5). We work with everything from passenger cars and motorcycles to campers, transport vehicles, light trucks, and boats – with drivetrains ranging from petrol and diesel to hybrid and electric. Our specialty is extending the lifespan of vehicles through repairs, renovations, and technical improvements, ensuring that no two workdays are the same.

As a Service Advisor, you are the hub of the workshop's daily flow. Your main responsibilities include:

• Customer reception at the desk and by phone, as well as check-in and check-out at our tire hotel
• Booking of jobs via our channels (MECA, etc.)
• Work orders, quotes, and invoicing in our workshop system PBS (training provided)
• Ordering spare parts from our suppliers (Mekonomen, DBS, Mechanum, etc.)
• Resource planning – matching the right job to the right technician and lift, day by day
• Damage cases and calculations in Cabas
• The workshop's digital face: responding to Google reviews and simpler social media posts
• Daily operational responsibility: you open and close the workshop, manage the cash register and daily closing, and keep the day running together with our technical foreman when the owner is not on site

The role has a clear development path – for the right person, the position can grow into a leadership role with result responsibility. Start date: Autumn 2026.

Qualifications

You who apply should:

• Have experience in customer reception, service, or administration – preferably from the automotive industry
• Be computer literate and quick to learn new systems
• Speak fluent Swedish and have good English skills
• Be structured, service-oriented, and confident in juggling multiple tasks
• Enjoy taking responsibility and making independent decisions in daily operations
• Hold at least a Category B driver's license (you will move customers' vehicles)

Merits

• Experience with workshop systems (e.g., PBS/ProMeister) or cash register systems
• Experience with spare part ordering and supplier contacts (Mekonomen, DBS, Mechanum, or similar)
• Experience with Cabas and damage cases
• Experience with invoicing, quoting, or financial administration
• Experience with resource planning or job distribution in a workshop
• Basic technical understanding of vehicles
• Experience with tire hotels or booking systems
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile, social media, and AI support in work
