Are you a master's student with a flexible schedule looking for a developmental and socially important part-time job? Do you have a passion for matching individuals to the labor market? Then becoming a Job Matcher at StudentConsulting is for you!
We at StudentConsulting in Stockholm are now looking for you who want to work part-time as a Job Matcher alongside your studies and help people into work or education. The work mainly consists of coaching, matching, guiding, and supporting job seekers into jobs or studies, through individual conversations and group workshops, among other things. The work is characterized by a clear result focus with the goal of helping the participant into employment, as well as supporting and motivating throughout the entire job search process. The work also includes some administrative and proactive tasks.
The working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, between 08:00-17:00. A requirement to be considered for the position is that you must be able to work at least 16 hours per week and be able to be present at our office in central Stockholm. Since this position requires specific staffing hours, we prefer that you study remotely, are writing your thesis, or otherwise have a flexible study schedule.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you are comfortable meeting new people and situations. Being self-reliant in your processes, taking significant personal responsibility, and having good organizational skills are qualities we consider important for this role. We believe that you who appreciate the feeling of helping and supporting others will thrive very well in this role, and we assume that you always strive to do a good job. Experience in coaching and/or recruitment will be of great help in the work for your own part, but is not a requirement.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Requirements to be considered for the position:
- Are a student at a college or university (at least 50%) and have AT LEAST 6 months left of your studies.
- Meet either alternative 1 or 2:
Alternative 1:
- Have studied at least 180 higher education credits at the university level within: working life, organization and personnel work, study and career guidance, business economics, work-life psychology, behavioral science, occupational therapy, or within the framework of a social work education, or alternatively another relevant area.
- AND at least two years of work experience equivalent to full-time.
Alternative 2:
- Have studied at least one (1) year of full-time studies at post-secondary level with a passing grade.
- AND at least three (3) years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following professions or tasks:
- Work leadership with personnel responsibility.
- Recruitment.
- Transition work for job seekers.
- Study and career guidance.
- Processing of personnel matters (not just personnel administration).
- Work with working life and labor market issues.
- Work with social and group psychology.
- Career guidance.
Other requirements:
- Can provide certificates showing current studies, previous work experience, and previous completed studies.
- Can work at least 16 hours per week.
- Can work on-site 2-3 days a week at our office in Stockholm City.
- Have very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- Additional knowledge in one or more languages is meritorious.

- We prefer that you have previously worked with coaching, mentoring, guidance and/or recruitment and staffing.
- As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, creative, and skilled in conversations with other people. You like a fast pace and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You are good at inspiring and motivating others, and are helpful and confident in yourself. You value differences among people and have a great understanding of the impact that differences can create.
