About the Employer

The Social Services Administration is responsible for measures, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and the Health and Medical Services Act, and are to implement measures regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center to meet their needs. The assignment involves a strong customer focus and a spirit of service.

Provider LSS and Social Psychiatry, with just over 350 permanent employees, is a provider service directed towards children, young people, and adults. We are governed by, among other things, the LSS Act, SoL (Social Services Act), and HSL (Health and Medical Services Act) and have executive responsibility for measures regulated by these laws. The operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center and collaborating to meet the individual's needs. The operations have a strong customer focus, a good spirit of service, and provide conditions for cross-boundary work that is both inspiring and conducive to professional development.

The Position

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible woman to work as a personal assistant for a boy who has personal assistance.

2 positions available.

Job Responsibilities

The position is in a family with young siblings, which means there is a lot of life and movement in everyday life. Therefore, we are looking for you who are secure, flexible, and have a big heart for children and family life, but with full focus on your assignment as a personal assistant.

As a personal assistant, you will be a support in the boy's everyday life – at home, during activities, and in various daily situations. The work is very active and includes, among other things, cycling, swimming, and playing. Therefore, it is important that you have good physical fitness and enjoy moving around.

You will help create structure and security in everyday life, participate in activities, and contribute to a positive and meaningful existence. Your assignment is to support and guide the child in his development and daily routines.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• Upper secondary education. Merit of education as an assistant nurse or childcare worker, as well as experience working with children, young people, care, or personal assistance.
• You are a woman aged 20–50 (according to the user's preference).
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Hold a valid B-driver's license.

Personal Competencies:

• You easily empathize with others' situations. You listen, understand, and show consideration. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions.
• You work well with other people. You relate to them in a listening and smooth manner. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through a non-hierarchical focus on the common goal.
• You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to emerging problems.
• You have a good understanding of how humans absorb knowledge and of people's different prerequisites. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
• You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You have interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
• You easily adapt, develop, and learn new things after changed requirements, conditions, or circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can also change your perspective and approach.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability and personal chemistry, as it is important that you, the boy, and the family as a whole get along well together.

Employment Terms

• Type of employment: Permanent position.
• Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement.
• Working hours: Working hours according to schedule, day/evening/night/weekend (discussed further at the interview).
