Personal Assistant Wanted for a Man in Rejmyre – Fixed Morning and Afternoon Shifts

Omsorgsgruppen is now looking for a personal assistant for a man in Rejmyre. This position is ideal for you who appreciate working independently, are calm and patient, and have the ability to motivate and create structure in daily life.

The work involves simple assistance and consists mainly of shorter shifts in the morning and afternoon. The working hours are currently scheduled for approximately 07:00–08:30 and 16:15–17:30. Work also occurs on weekends according to the schedule, specifically on Saturdays, preliminarily every other Saturday. Between shifts, the client attends day activities.

About the Role

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the client's daily life. The client has dementia and is a calm and reserved person who appreciates a secure, respectful, and predictable approach.

A large part of the assignment involves motivating and encouraging the client in various daily tasks. With patience and a calm attitude, you help the client maintain their routines and independence.

Responsibilities include among other things:

• Support with morning and evening routines
• Assistance with toilet visits and personal care as needed
• Cooking and simpler household chores
• Greeting the client when transport or taxi arrives from day activities and helping them into the home
• Social support and motivational efforts in daily life
• Support regarding the client's dog as needed

The client has a great interest in fishing and cars and loves his dog. Sharing any of these interests is a plus and can contribute to a good relationship.

Other Information

The position currently involves shorter shifts in the morning and afternoon. The client's decision will be reviewed during the autumn, which may mean that the scope of the position changes over time.
