About the Social Services Administration

The Social Services Administration is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and are to implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by an individual-centered approach to meet the individual's needs. The assignment involves a strong customer focus and a spirit of service.

About the Individual and Family Care Unit

At the Individual and Family Care Unit, official cases within various parts of social services are processed. We also provide outpatient care for adults, children, and families. We are a workplace with approximately 180 employees, both men and women of varying ages and years in the profession. We strive for a workplace with legally secure case processing for our clients/users and a good working environment for our employees.

Your role with us in the Children and Young People Unit

With us in the Children and Young People Unit, you will have an important role in providing children and young people aged 0-20 with the right support at the right time. We are now strengthening the operations through a clear focus on quality development and strengthened leadership, all to create even better conditions for you as an employee to perform professional work with the best interests of the child in focus.

Job Responsibilities

Here we work together in teams with the entire case processing process from the initiation of an investigation to decision and follow-up of interventions. The work includes investigations according to current legislation, where the best interests of the child are always at the center. This means mapping needs, compiling decision support, making decisions, and following up on interventions both in outpatient care and in placements in residential care for youth (HVB), supported housing, or foster homes. You will encounter both short, acute cases and long-term processes where the need for security and support is more extensive.

As a social secretary with us, you meet children and young people, their families, and networks at different stages of life. You collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, other authorities, and colleagues to find sustainable solutions. The role also involves documentation, statements to other authorities, and active participation in our joint quality and method development.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker or have another university education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• We would like you to have experience working with authority exercises for children and young people.
• You have a good ability to express yourself clearly and correctly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Since the work may involve travel, a B-driver's license is a requirement.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement with the recruiting manager.
Working hours: Mon 8-18, Tue - Thu 8-17, Fri 8-16
