Personal Assistant Wanted for New Client in Hällestad – Daytime with Double Staffing

Omsorgsgruppen is now recruiting personal assistants for a new male client living in Hällestad.

Please note that good knowledge of English is a requirement for this position, as communication takes place in English. Knowledge of German is highly advantageous.

The client has extensive care needs and requires support with all aspects of personal care and daily living. The work is always performed during daytime shifts with double staffing, meaning you will work together with another assistant during your shifts.

This is a role for you who appreciate structure, calm, and continuity. You need to feel comfortable with varying paces and occasional quieter moments.

About the Role

As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the client's daily life. Your mission is to create safety, provide support in all daily tasks, and contribute to a calm and predictable environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Personal care and support in activities of daily living
• Following and creating clear daily routines
• Support during activities and leisure time
• Contributing to a safe and structured daily life
• Collaborating with a colleague during all daytime shifts

The client can sometimes become overstimulated, which may manifest as anxiety. In these situations, it is important that you maintain a calm and low-arousal approach. Clear routines and a secure way of interacting help the client find their way back to calm. Classical music, nature, and horses are things the client appreciates and which contribute to well-being.

You will receive thorough induction and ongoing support so that you feel secure in your role.

• Has good knowledge of English
• Speaking German is a great advantage

Previous experience in personal assistance or care is advantageous, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability. The most important thing is that you want to make a difference and see the value in small steps forward.

Other Information

• Start in August/September in connection with the commencement of the assignment.
• Initial hourly temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment.
• Extract from the criminal record is required before employment.
