The Family Team, Advice and Support, is looking for new colleagues!

We are now looking for two dedicated employees for our family team within Advice and Support. The team consists of ten family therapists and a supervisor, and we work in close collaboration with the authority Children and Young People, where we share both leadership and management.

With us, you will become part of a developing operation. We have recently begun implementing Signs of Safety and are facing an increased focus on home-based solutions as well as a deeper work within school social issues. This means an exciting opportunity to help shape future support measures for children, young people, and their families.

Your responsibilities

In the role of family therapist, you work with support measures and treatment in families with socially complex life situations, where the goal is to help the families find the right strategies to create lasting and positive change. The work consists largely of assignments from the authority Children and Young People, but also as a measure without needs assessment according to the new Social Services Act.

You are given the opportunity to largely design and plan your working day yourself, so it is required that you are flexible and find working solutions. The starting point is that the work is carried out in the environments deemed most suitable, which can be at home, through digital communication, in public environments, at school, etc. The assignment involves extensive collaboration with other functions, e.g., social secretaries, other therapists at the unit, and external partners such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), police, and schools.

Who are you?

You are engaged and motivated in your assignment and have a strong belief in people's potential for change, where you see the young person's network as an important resource. You are flexible and solution-focused in your approach, and feel secure both in working independently and together with others. At the same time, you actively contribute to a good work climate characterized by cooperation and a clear focus on the assignment.

Requirements:

  • Have a degree in social work or other relevant higher education and have experience in treatment work with young people and families.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in using the Office package.

Merits:

  • Trained in Functional Family Therapy (FFT).
  • Experience working in the Lifecare system.
  • Experience with Signs of Safety (if you lack this, there may be an opportunity to get it through us).
  • Have experience in treatment work with children, young people, and families and have broad knowledge of evidence-based methods such as Tryggare barn, Trappan, FFT, ABC, MI, Repulse, etc.
  • Have good ability to create alliances and build trust.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

We offer you

You work mainly weekdays during the day, but some evening and weekend work may occur. The position is a permanent employment, as well as a one-year temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment. You have your own office and sit in our premises located in Kisa.

  • Flexible working hours agreement.
  • Wellness allowance.
  • Good opportunities for competence development.
  • Opportunity for supervision.
  • Opportunity for holiday exchange and remote work according to the municipality's guidelines.

Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent.
