We are part of Region Östergötland's Primary Care Centre, together with 32 other region-run health centers. The health center is conveniently located in the Hageby district with good connections to the rest of Norrköping and currently has approximately 13,000 registered patients. We have well-functioning, well-equipped, and pleasant premises, along with a development-inspired working method and a broad primary care operation. We are proud to have an area profile characterized by diversity, where we meet patients of all ages with many different healthcare needs. The health center features a doctor's office, specialist nurse clinics, a nurse's clinic, elderly care clinic, child health care, psychosocial competence, dietitian competence, chiropody, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for some nursing homes and home care services in our registration area. Additionally, we operate one of three education clinics in Region Östergötland at our health center. We are approximately 65 employees who enjoy working together in an open work climate. Job Description

The assignment includes assessment and counseling treatment based on the primary care approach according to IBH (Integrated Behavioral Health). In our patient population, we encounter a larger proportion of individuals with mental health issues. We work to develop our approach and to connect more closely with civil society by creating teamwork both within the health center and through care neighbors and other actors such as interest groups and patient organizations. The counseling clinic works together with other clinics to maintain a holistic view of the patient and care.

Work Group

You will be one of two counselors and work closely in the team, also together with a rehabilitation coordinator. You will work independently with the counseling clinic and will have the opportunity for close collaboration with doctors and other staff to ensure the best effect and results of the treatment. We offer regular supervision.

About You

You have a basic education as a social worker, psychologist, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. The requirement is that you have completed a CBT Step 1 education. If you are a licensed healthcare counselor and have experience in primary care, this is an advantage. To thrive with us, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have good teamwork skills and feel confident in your professional role. You have a high degree of personal maturity and communicate clearly. You are a problem solver, both independently and together with others. You make professional assessments and can initiate and conclude treatments by working systematically.

You are driven and engaged and find it easy to establish contacts both within and outside the organization. We work in an area where language skills and cultural competence can be important. We require Swedish language skills in speech and writing equivalent to level C1.
