Are you someone who enjoys selling fitness and health and has the ability to "give that little extra" in every interaction? Then this job might be for you! In your role as facility staff, you are our most important contact with prospective and existing members, as well as volunteers such as instructors, hosts, and trainers. You meet and contribute to high service standards. You are part of the facility team belonging to the South East area and report to the Area Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Handle sales of gym memberships and other articles, including cash reconciliation, member registration, and providing information about Friskis&Svettis mission, prices, training, etc.
• Encourage training and greet members both in the gym, entrance areas, and reception.
• Initiate and participate in the maintenance of the facility to ensure high quality regarding both the premises and equipment in the gym and halls.
• Ensure that we deliver the training we have promised, together with colleagues at the facility.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who is an engaged and positive team player and who can also work independently. You have experience in sales, service, and/or retail work. When problems arise, they should be solved, which requires that you are attentive to what the member wants. You take responsibility for your own work and can create an overview when several things happen at once. You are also willing to think new thoughts and contribute your ideas to the development of our work in the team. You have service skills and enjoy working with and for people. You are accommodating towards members, volunteers, and colleagues. We place extra emphasis on strong initiative and proactiveness.

OBS! The position involves varying working hours; mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We need our staff when members are training so that we can provide the best possible service.

Merits

• Experience in customer service/sales, preferably from a values-driven organization.
• Competence and experience with the BRP business system.
• Trained leader within Friskis.
• Good knowledge of gyms and strength training.

Employment type:

Working hours: Fixed-term contract from August 24, 2026, to January 7, 2028, start and end dates as agreed. Part-time, regulated working hours, day/evening/weekend according to business opening hours. Number of open positions: 1. Employment level: 50%. Start date: Sept 1 or as agreed.
