Main Responsibilities
As an Economic Administrator, you work directly under the Head of Economics and together with one or more Economic Administrators. Together, you drive the economic planning and follow-up for the squadron and its combat units according to the Swedish Armed Forces' model for economic control. This means that you budget, forecast, and follow up on the economy. You are also a central function for the unit as you support in economic, but also adjacent issues such as accounting, correct registration in our business system (SAP), procurement, purchasing, etc., and provide data support for other functions within the squadron. As an employee, you will receive combat training for civilian employees and be war-placed at the 4th Naval Warfare Squadron for service even in the event of general mobilization.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in economics or experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Practical and/or current experience in economic work.
- Documented experience working in MS Excel.
- Good ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English.

You are interested in economics and accounting as well as the Swedish Armed Forces' operations. You are therefore driven to seek solutions and information you need through your own initiatives to solve your tasks and develop. You have the ability to plan ahead and ensure that important deadlines in work are met. You also take responsibility for the whole, see the overarching purpose of a task, and based on that understanding, ensure that a task is completely solved.
You have a desire to learn and dare to test yourself, even if tasks and technical systems initially seem complex, you do not give up.
You combine effective use of technical systems with communicative and relationship-building skills, and see the importance of good relationships within and outside your own organization. You enjoy collaborating and are interested in helping and relieving colleagues within your areas of knowledge, and you are perceived as service-oriented.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University education in economics.
- Documented training in MS Excel.
- Experience working in business systems such as SAP.
- Practical experience from the Swedish Armed Forces, e.g., as a conscript.

The 4th Naval Warfare Squadron is an operational unit tasked with maintaining and developing the Swedish Armed Forces' capability in naval warfare. In peacetime, the squadron practices its war mission, to defend Sweden's territory and Swedish interests. The squadron monitors Swedish sea territory, conducts intelligence gathering, clears mines, and protects sea areas, sea routes, and shipping. The 4th Naval Warfare Squadron continuously contributes personnel to international operations. The squadron is based in Berga south of Stockholm and in Skredsvik at Gullmarsfjorden on the Bohus coast, where the Mine Clearance Diving Division is located.
