We are looking for a qualified Financial Controller for the agency's Economic and Business Control department. We design, apply, and standardize economic and business control processes so that the agency's managers can steer and lead the organization. We are developing overarching planning and follow-up processes with the ambition to become more data-driven.
Economic and Business Control
In your role as a Financial Controller at the overarching agency level, you work to provide Försäkringskassan's management with the support required to lead, steer, and monitor the agency's operations and finances.
You work with agency-wide planning and follow-up of the agency's operations and economy. You are expected to produce analysis and decision-support materials for the agency's leadership and to support various parts of the operations in different matters. As a Financial Controller, you work closely with the agency's managers and often collaborate with the agency's leadership, board, and the Government Offices (Regeringskansliet).

We are looking for someone who
- has a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
- has several years of experience as a Financial Controller
- has experience working with analysis and reporting tools
- acts on own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- works to achieve results with high quality
- can understand and analyze complex issues
- has good communication skills, both verbal and written
- collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
- has a systematic and meticulous working method.
It is an advantage if you
- have experience working as a Financial Controller within a larger organization, preferably within a larger agency
- have knowledge of issues regarding mandates and a good understanding of the financial conditions in a regulatory letter
- have experience working with budget and forecast control
- have experience with specifying requirements for economic systems and/or reporting tools
- have experience collaborating at the highest management level
- are proactive and accustomed to change management in large organizations.

Other Information
One position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. Some positions involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a successful security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. Remote work opportunities exist if the work allows. In this recruitment, work psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Location: Hägersten.
