Welcome to us
Sabbatsbergsbyn is a special housing facility with 106 apartments distributed across 11 units in three buildings. Nine units are for residents with diagnosed dementia, and two units are for those who, due to physical reasons, need care and nursing around the clock. Sabbatsbergsbyn is located in central Stockholm between S:t Eriksplan and Odenplan. It is a central nursing home in Vasastan with green areas nearby. In the Garden of Senses, we meet for barbecues, gymnastics, entertainment, and coffee breaks. We are now looking for a Team Leader for one of our three buildings with a dementia focus.

Your role
As a Team Leader, you report to the Unit Manager and will work closely with both the Unit Manager and other staff members. You will work on the development of the unit, quality assurance, be responsible for the reception of new employees and students, handle administrative tasks such as invoices, orders in Agresso, administrative tasks related to recruitment, and plan staffing for longer absences of nursing staff.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- A University College degree focused on administration, preferably within healthcare and social services, or other equivalent education.
- A few years of experience working in healthcare and social services.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious qualifications include:
- Experience working in municipal elderly care, both as nursing staff and administratively.
- Project management training or documented experience leading projects or working in project and development work.
As a person, you have a solution-focused mindset. You are self-reliant, goal- and result-oriented, and driven by preventing problems and developing operations to stay ahead. You have a holistic view and consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and decisions. You are courageous, communicate easily, and ensure that expectations are clear. You are interested in overarching issues and are good at collaborating with others to create added value. For this assignment, we will place great emphasis on your personal skills and abilities.
