Senior Program Manager at Bolagsverket in Sundsvall

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who, together with the business operations, will create the right prerequisites and structures for our development work, with or without IT components. About the Role

We are facing many exciting challenges. This spring, we established structures for the management and leadership of larger assignments by introducing program management as a complement to regular development control. The assignment involves both the development of existing operations and the establishment of new business areas.

You will belong to the Development Office within the Department for Digital Development and Collaboration. The Development Office is responsible for preparing, planning, and monitoring the long-term development plan and development portfolio.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Program Manager, you play a crucial role in leading and coordinating our programs with a holistic perspective to achieve common goals of strategic importance to Bolagsverket. Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating programs with a holistic perspective to achieve strategic goals.
• Planning and monitoring both the program as a whole and various initiatives.
• Leading and supporting change processes through collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Being responsible for financing issues related to the program.
• Assisting in the work with various investigations and decision support materials, including estimates, delivery plans, and budgets.
• Establishing and leading cross-functional collaborations (e.g., IT architecture, legal, business development, and finance).
• Identifying, monitoring, and actively working to minimize risks.
• Ensuring that the work is carried out according to Bolagsverket's established methods for business and IT development.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have a relevant academic education or experience that the employer considers equivalent, as well as certification in project/program management or equivalent experience.

To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you have:

• Documented experience in senior assignment management, program management, or project management within IT/business, with a focus on leading complex programs.
• Experience in a leadership role with a strong focus on communication and collaboration to create clarity, structure, and execution power.
• Several years of experience in business development at a strategic and tactical level, as well as change management.
• Very good ability to communicate clearly, pedagogically, and tailored to the target audience, in both Swedish and English.

Merits:

• Education in agile methods.
• Education in methods for business development, process development, or digitalization.
• Experience working in the public sector or other complex organizations.
• Experience in change management and method development within development control or portfolio management.
• Experience working in organizations with lean-agile development processes.
• Very good knowledge of the Office package, Confluence, and Jira.

Location and Terms

The location is Sundsvall or as agreed. We offer remote work, but you are expected to be regularly present at the office in Sundsvall. The work includes both agency-internal and agency-crossing activities, which may involve some travel.
