As a support assistant with us, you work to provide our residents with individually adapted support in their daily lives, as well as stimulating and supporting them in leisure activities. The work involves working based on the resident's needs and wishes, which lays the foundation for the individually adapted support in the user's everyday life. Your work contributes to our users having as independent a life as possible. Care work is included in the tasks, as well as quality assurance in the form of social documentation, implementation plans, and routines.

You will collaborate with the users, their relatives/guardians, and staff in other operations. Our keywords in the work are motivational work, structure, networking, documentation, meaningful everyday life, and collaboration.

The work suits you if you can work days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a support assistant education, a vocational diploma from the Care and Nursing Program or the Child and Youth Program, or equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience working with people who have intellectual, psychiatric, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. It is an advantage if your work experience is as a support assistant in the aforementioned areas. A driver's license is desirable but not a requirement.

As a person, you are responsible and have a respectful attitude with the user's best interest in focus. You adapt easily to the individual and situation, have good cooperation skills, and a pedagogical approach. You are driven, flexible, engaged, and responsive in your work style and contribute to a positive work climate.

Good to know

To be called for an interview, a passing grade in Swedish 1 at the upper secondary level or equivalent must be presented. If this is missing, you will be required to take a digital language test.

In the event of an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the Police's criminal record must be presented.

Your new workplace

Kvarnfallsvägen group home in Sävedalen is one of Partille Municipality's LSS housing units. The housing is adapted for people covered by the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities. Six people live here in their own apartments. At Kvarnfallsvägen group home, we work with situation- and activity-adapted methods. With continuous review of staffing, space is created for both spontaneity and added value in life. A working method that both staff and users enjoy.

You will be part of a work group consisting of 8 support assistants and a support pedagogue. Our work group also receives training/supervision from the municipality's four method developers as needed to secure work methods and raise competence in the group.
