Description

Rättvik Municipality is perhaps best known for its magnificent nature and its rich cultural traditions in music and art. We also have a nice selection of various sports facilities, such as an ice hall, multi-arena, golf courses, swimming pool, ski slope, ski tracks, and a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Rättvik School is a lower secondary school with approximately 260 students. The school is located in central Rättvik.

Job Description

You will be part of a teaching team focused on Physical Education and Health in grades 6–9. The role also involves collaboration with other colleagues and contact with guardians as needed. At the school, we have a well-developed program for Physical Education and Health. In addition to teaching, you will help organize outdoor days, such as hiking and winter sports. Mentoring is also included in this role.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Physical Education and Health. You have the ability to handle both complex and everyday questions and tasks in a structured, responsible manner from a holistic perspective. You must also be good at collaborating and building good relationships with students and staff. Experience in the profession and having worked at the lower secondary level is meritorious.
