Organization and Workplace Description

We are now looking for a special education teacher who is passionate about student development and wants to contribute to a supportive and preventive student welfare effort together with the teachers and school leadership at Rönndalsskolan, Linghedsskolan, and the Svärdsjö school area.

Rönndalsskolan is a grades F-6 school with approximately 150 students, and Danholnsskolan F-6 receives approximately 60 students. Both schools are located in fantastic surroundings where our wonderful students have good conditions for success in school thanks to a dedicated staff group comprising approximately 30 employees. We need to complement our team with expertise in special education to better meet the students' needs and further develop teaching and learning environments. We would like you, as a trained special education teacher, to be accustomed to working both supportively and preventively at the organizational and group levels, as well as interventionally at the individual level. You will be an important part of our student health team, where meetings take place with other staff working to make our education even more accessible and inclusive. You will work in close collaboration with the school leadership. We jointly value that every student in our operations develops to their full potential, both academically and socially. You will also be an important piece of the puzzle in our work teams and in the school's development work.

The Svärdsjö school area offers workplaces where we jointly develop and create modern schools. Here you also work in a team, together with other special education teachers and student health personnel. The role also involves working as a qualified conversation partner and advisor in pedagogical matters for colleagues, guardians, and other important parties. Job Responsibilities

The work involves identifying, analyzing, and participating in the work to develop and promote the learning environment in the organization at both group and individual levels. In your role, you will provide guidance and support to work teams and individual teachers. You will work with school-wide assignments where special educational competence is needed and be a driving force in student welfare work. As a special education teacher, you will also be the school leadership's "extended arm" in the work teams regarding student welfare matters. If necessary, you will need to prepare pedagogical investigations and action plans in collaboration with teachers, students, and guardians.

Qualifications

Required for the role:

• Special education degree or other education deemed equivalent by the employer

• Experience working in primary school grades F-6

Employment Terms

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date as agreed.
