We are looking for an enthusiastic lower secondary school teacher at Halvarsgårdars School in Borlänge

Job Responsibilities

• Work as a class teacher in lower secondary school and, based on your qualifications, teach in certain subjects in grades 4 to 6, where the main task is to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching.
• Document and provide feedback on knowledge development to students and guardians through knowledge assessments and follow-ups.
• Create security and study peace in the group.
• Individually adapt teaching and the learning environment according to students' needs.
• As a class teacher, collaborate with work teams grades 4 to 6 as well as with other colleagues at the school.
• Work collegially together at the school and together with your colleagues drive the development of the school with the students' best interests in mind.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• For the position, you must be a certified lower secondary school teacher with qualifications in subjects for grades 4 to 6.
• You have experience working in schools and have a good understanding of the assignment and the challenges the school faces.
• You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately in different teaching situations.
• Driver's license and access to a personal car.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience working with students with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) issues.
