About the Job

Do you want to help educate the next generation in forestry at the Forestry Gymnasium, Forestry Economics Gymnasium, and Hunting Gymnasium?

The programs Forestry Gymnasium, Hunting Gymnasium, and Forestry Economics Gymnasium are offered within the Natural Resource Program with a focus on forestry. Students gain knowledge in modern forestry and digital technology. Theoretical studies are mixed with simulator training and driving real machines on practice grounds and in the forest.

Students at the Hunting Gymnasium gain in-depth knowledge of various hunting methods and game management. At the Forestry Economics Gymnasium, students deepen their knowledge in forest production, forest management, and how different management methods affect the value of the forest. The Forestry Gymnasium deepens students' skills in forestry machine operation.

Our students gain competence to work in forestry as machine operators, forest caretakers, or entrepreneurs. Many continue their studies to become forest masters, forest technicians, game managers, game handlers, or pursue other higher education.

We are now looking for you who have both practical and theoretical knowledge within forestry. At Älvdalen Education Center, we offer stimulating work in an open, non-hierarchical, and creative environment. You will join a cheerful team full of forestry professionals. Your main tasks will consist of teaching our forestry, hunting, and forestry economics students in subject areas related to forestry, together with colleagues. You will have support from pre-formulated teaching plans and close collaboration with colleagues.

Älvdalen Education Center AB (ÄUC) is a free school company owned by Dalarna Region, Älvdalen Municipality, and industry companies within our educational fields. The operations include upper secondary education in forestry, transport, construction machinery, and nature tourism. Älvdalen Education Center is located near the Dalarna Mountains and the Vasaloppet Arena, with excellent opportunities for outdoor life, hunting, and fishing in the area.
