Unit for Coordination and Support, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs
The Unit for Coordination and Support works on direct mandate from the political leadership and assists, among other things, with the coordination and support of the ministry's budget and analysis work, agency and operational management, research issues, gender mainstreaming, and internal administration.

As a case officer, you report directly to the Unit Head. You work as an agency liaison officer for Forte, the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare. You are responsible for all aspects of the processes concerning the government's steering and follow-up of Forte, such as agency dialogues, letters of appropriation, budget work, special assignments, civil servant dialogues, etc. You are also responsible for coordinating and following up on the ministry's research issues. You also participate in the unit's work to develop and coordinate the ministry's work with the budget process, agency management, and the development of working methods.

Your background
We are looking for you who have an education in a relevant field, for example political science, law, or economics. If you have completed a degree in any of the above subjects, we consider it an advantage. Furthermore, you have a few years of experience with agency management issues and the state budget process, good knowledge of the Swedish public administration and the Swedish administrative model, and good knowledge of the role of an agency liaison officer. You also have good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills and experience with the Office package.
If you also have experience of the state budget system Hermes, and experience of working in the Government Offices, we consider it an advantage.

The employment is for a fixed-term position from September 2026 to February 2027.
