About the role

As a Readiness Specialist, you are responsible for conducting consequence analyses, developing continuity plans, identifying risks and vulnerabilities, and proposing measures.

We are now looking for a specialist for our unit to strengthen our capabilities within risk analysis and continuity coordination.

You will ensure resilience and endurance in the event of disruption, crisis, and war, based on the Civil Readiness strategy for the Network Division. The strategy covers risk management, continuity management, crisis leadership and wartime organization, training and exercises, readiness supplies, repair readiness, strategic agreements, and fortification protection. Depending on your background and/or interest, there is a great opportunity to influence the content and direction of the role.

The duties also include:

• Coordinating the Network Division's activities related to our Civil Readiness strategy, developing analyses, solution proposals, and prioritizations from a readiness perspective
• Leading and developing continuity management work
• Leading and developing risk and vulnerability analysis work
• Mapping critical operations and processes
• Continuously participating in the work of conducting analyses based on a changing external environment

As a Readiness Specialist, you will belong to the Network Civil Readiness section and the subordinate unit Civil Readiness Planning. The section works comprehensively for the entire Network Division and currently consists of 14 people. The section was formed in 2023, which means you have the opportunity to be part of the continued development of the section and units within the area of Civil Readiness.

The role of Readiness Specialist requires a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, as you will have extensive contact areas within the division, towards other divisions at Svenska Kraft Network, but also externally. Business development is an important part of the role, as new ways of working and a focus on reducing lead times and efficiency are required to meet the high growth rate.

In this recruitment, we place great importance on your personal qualities.

We see that you have a relevant university or college education in engineering, technology, political science, risk management, leadership and management, law, or other higher education that Svenska Kraft Network considers equivalent. Furthermore, you have:

• Several years of experience working in transmission or regional grids, or alternatively other critical infrastructure
• Relevant work experience and good knowledge of civil readiness and total defense
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license

We consider it meritorious if you have experience with:

• Experience in setting requirements for operations based on civil readiness and total defense
• Experience in project management or project coordination
• Experience in continuity management
• Experience in risk and vulnerability analyses
• Experience in driving own investigations in government agencies
• Experience in working with requirement and steering documents
• Handling security-classified information and/or systems

• The position is located in Gothenburg, Sundbyberg, Västerås, Sundsvall, or Luleå.
• Opportunity for remote work up to 50%, if the work allows. #LI-hybrid.
• Travel may occur in this role a few times per year.
