Business Strategist at Lantmäteriet

Do you want to work strategically in a socially important operation and contribute to strengthening internal control within Lantmäteriet? We are now looking for a Business Strategist who wants to develop and manage the authority-wide control model for the operation's internal control and drive one of our authority-common networks.
At our company, you will have a central role close to the management, where you contribute to creating change, structure, direction, and follow-up to achieve integrated control in the operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Business Strategist, you are responsible for developing the authority's overarching control model, goals, and business control. You work strategically and across the authority, responsible for producing the authority's long-term plan.
Through the authority-common network that you drive, there is a development and integration of the authority's control model. As the person responsible for the authority's overarching control model, you also have an authority-wide responsibility to develop, coordinate, and ensure the quality of the included planning and follow-up processes, along with associated controlling and supporting documents.
You collaborate closely with the Director General and their management group, as well as with other key functions, and serve as a support in planning, follow-up, and analysis. You create the conditions for the work to be conducted in a structured, methodical, and integrated manner within the authority's combined operations. When the unit is established, you will have close collaboration with your future colleagues within the unit and with various operational representatives.
The position is located in the newly formed unit Business Control and Internal Control, whose main task is to achieve integrated control and management within the authority that promotes a good governance culture.
In this role, there is an opportunity to both develop the role and contribute to developing the team and the newly formed unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have an academic degree in, for example, economics, law, political science, or equivalent as assessed to be comparable. You also have several years of experience working with strategic business control, overarching control issues in complex organizations, and experience working closely with the top management group.
To fit the role, you must have strategic ability and be able to combine a holistic perspective with detailed understanding, and be able to translate complex issues into clear decision-making materials to achieve progress and change.
We consider it meritorious if you have experience from the public sector, knowledge of business control systems (e.g., Stratsys), and change management.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and see that you have the ability to drive change work, are pedagogical, responsible, and self-initiating. Furthermore, you are outgoing and receptive, and have good communication skills in speech and writing. In the role, you have your own areas of responsibility, so you need to be able to work independently but also have the ability to collaborate and see your part in a team. You also have the ability to plan and organize your work and are meticulous.
The position with us involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted in connection with employment.
Location is possible at Lantmäteriet's offices in Stockholm, Uppsala, or Gävle. However, your geographical placement must enable regular presence at all three locations.
Employment type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: Start date by agreement.
