Responsible for Governance and Management Systems

The Swedish Mapping, Cadastre and Land Registration Authority (Lantmäteriet) is the agency responsible for mapping Sweden. Our tasks also include registering and securing ownership of all real estate properties and managing their boundaries. We are now looking for you who have a strong commitment to society.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As responsible for the agency's governance and management systems, within the group process 'govern and lead', you have an agency-wide responsibility for developing, structuring, and strengthening the agency's management processes. The role is also responsible for ensuring that management processes contain clear governing documents that strengthen the possibility of execution for the operations, and that these are coordinated. The role creates prerequisites so that management and their operations have the conditions to work efficiently, in a coordinated manner, and contribute to a good internal environment. The role drives the work of developing and managing the agency's governance and management systems through an agency-wide network.

The role contributes to creating a functioning whole in the agency's governance and management systems.

The position is located in the newly formed unit 'Business Governance and Internal Control', whose main task is to achieve integrated governance and leadership within the agency that promotes a good administrative culture. The position involves close collaboration with your closest colleagues, architecture responsible persons, process owners, and those responsible for governing documents. In this role, there is an opportunity to both develop the role and contribute to developing the team and the newly formed unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in, for example, economics, law, political science, or equivalent. You also have several years of experience working with management systems (e.g., 2C8) and in developing and structuring management processes and governing documents, as well as experience with overarching governance issues in complex organizations.

To fit the role, you must have strategic ability and be able to combine a holistic perspective with detailed understanding, and be able to translate complex issues into clear decision-making materials.

Experience from the public sector, process leadership, and/or process development is considered meritorious.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and see that you have the ability to drive change work, are pedagogical, responsible, and self-initiating. Furthermore, you are outgoing and receptive, and have good communicative skills in speech and writing. In the role, you have your own areas of responsibility, so you need to be able to work independently but also have the ability to collaborate and see your part in a team. You also have the ability to plan and organize your work and are meticulous.

The position with us involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted in connection with employment.

The place of work can be at Lantmäteriet's offices in Stockholm, Uppsala, or Gävle. However, your geographical stationing must enable regular presence at all three locations.

Employment type: Permanent.
