Company Description

AVL is one of the world’s leading mobility technology companies for development, simulation, and testing in the automotive industry and beyond. The company provides concepts, solutions, and methodologies in fields such as vehicle development and integration, e-mobility, automated and connected mobility (ADAS/AD), and software for a greener, safer, and better world of mobility.

Job Description

Do you want to help attract future talent to a company with a strong growth agenda? As a Talent Acquisition Specialist here, you will play a key role in ensuring that we find, attract, and recruit the right employees for our operations.

You will become part of our HR team and work closely with our managers to drive recruitment processes from start to finish. The main focus is on recruitment for our operations in Gothenburg, where the growth rate is high, but you will also support recruitment in other parts of Sweden.

In this role, you act as a consulting partner to our managers and are responsible for ensuring that recruitment processes maintain high quality, are efficient, and create a positive candidate experience. You work operationally through the entire process – from requirement profiles and advertising to candidate attraction, selection, phone interviews, and coordination of the subsequent recruitment process.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role that combines structure and drive with a consultative approach. You are comfortable challenging, giving recommendations, and guiding managers on recruitment matters, while ensuring progress and good communication throughout the process.

In addition to operational recruitment work, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our Employer Branding efforts and participate in various HR-related projects that strengthen our ability to attract and retain talent in the long term.

Profile

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • About 2–3 years of recruitment experience where you have driven your own recruitment processes from start to finish
  • Experience working closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • Experience recruiting for technical or engineering-related roles
  • Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Interest in understanding and recruiting for technical roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience from the consulting industry or a recruitment agency
  • Interest in, or experience with, Employer Branding

As a person

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are an independent and engaged person who takes responsibility for your work and drives processes forward with energy, structure, and a focus on results. You have the ability to handle multiple recruitment processes in parallel without compromising on quality or candidate experience.

You are confident in your expertise and thrive in a consulting role where you support, guide, and sometimes challenge managers to ensure the best possible recruitment decisions. At the same time, you are approachable, unpretentious, and skilled at building trusting relationships with candidates, managers, and colleagues.

We also believe that you appreciate working in a business-close environment where collaboration is a key success factor. You are curious about the business, enjoy building networks, and see the value of being present in the organization to understand needs and create long-term relationships.

Here, you will work in a dynamic organization where much is happening and developing. Therefore, we believe you will thrive in a changing environment, like taking initiative, and appreciate a culture characterized by collaboration, engagement, and freedom with responsibility.

What We Offer

At AVL, you become part of a global technology company at the forefront of development, simulation, and testing in the future of mobility. As the world's largest independent player in the field, with over 12,000 employees internationally, we drive innovation for a greener, safer, and better world of mobility.

Our focus spans the entire value chain – from early idea and concept phases to industrialization and series production. We work with advanced technology in electrification, software, autonomous driving, digitalization, and energy-efficient powertrains, and help our customers shape future mobility solutions.

Here, you will have a workplace where you can grow, influence, and help drive technology development forward – making a real difference for the future of mobility!
