Mölndals Adult Education offers a range of courses and programs within SFI (Swedish for Immigrants), basic and upper secondary adult education, University College, and special education for adults. We offer both educational packages and standalone courses.

Job Responsibilities

At Campus Mölndal, we have students on all study paths and courses within SFI. Students can study in various formats, ranging from full-time on-site to flexible distance learning with supervision. From autumn 2026, we will participate in the project Strengthened Language and Secure Transitions, aimed at creating secure pathways within the education system and into working life for adult students by bridging the gap between the classroom and the real-world demands of workplaces.

As a Practical Coach, your primary responsibility is to find internship placements where our students can experience a Swedish workplace, try out a specific industry or profession, and develop their language skills. During the internship period, you will follow up regularly with the student and supervisor, communicate with teachers regarding progress, and ensure a forward-looking conclusion.

As part of the role, you are also responsible for coordinating study visits within various industries related to the teaching. You will be responsible for finding collaboration partners and booking visits in cooperation with teachers.

Creating and maintaining relationships, as well as keeping up-to-date with the local and regional labor market, is also a key part of your work.

The position is a project employment at 75%.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university degree, preferably with a pedagogical focus, and good experience of collaboration with various branches of industry, municipal and regional operations, as well as the non-profit sector. Previous work with the SFI target group and in pedagogical activities is meritorious.

You are flexible, self-initiating, and adaptable to different situations and needs. You are driven and positive towards the continuous development of our operations in close collaboration with your colleagues and principal. A Category B driver's license is required, and we prefer that you have access to a private car.
