What does the role offer?

In the role of Payroll Specialist, you work with the entire payroll process and are a central function in the organization's financial and personnel administrative work. You work closely with the accounting manager and have close collaboration in daily operations.

Your main tasks include, among other things:

  • Responsibility for the payroll process, from data collection to payment and reporting for both salaried employees and unionized staff.
  • Ensure that salaries are handled correctly and that discrepancies are caught.
  • Work with personnel administration as well as ongoing financial work such as customer invoicing, supplier invoice management, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
  • Communicate with employees, managers, and external parties such as authorities and customers.

This is a broad and independent role where you get to work close to the operations and contribute to quality and structure in important processes.

Who are you?

You have a secondary education in economics, administration, or equivalent, and several years of experience in independent payroll work. You have good knowledge of Swedish labor law and collective agreements, work comfortably in payroll systems and Excel, and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is an advantage if you have experience in personnel and/or financial administration, experience from manufacturing or project-based operations, and experience in a broad role in a small/medium-sized company.

You work carefully and ensure that everything is correct, with a special focus on details and discrepancies. You take responsibility for your work and drive your tasks independently. You have high integrity and handle information in a professional manner. You tackle what needs to be done and contribute to a respectful and collaborative climate with a humble approach.
