Job Description

As a Group Reporting Accountant at SafetyRespect, you will work closely with our Group CFO. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the group's accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting, while also helping to establish new processes, policies, and structures for the future. The role is both operational and analytical, serving as the link that connects the figures from our international entities.

You will have a broad and responsible role where your main tasks include:

  • Responsible for ongoing accounting as well as monthly and annual financial statements for the Swedish entity.
  • Quality-assure and receive financial reporting from our foreign subsidiaries in Norway, USA, UK, Germany, Lithuania, and Turkey.
  • Drive the consolidation of the group's companies.
  • Compile reports, analyze figures, and prepare materials for board meetings.
  • Oversee and be responsible for the group's annual report and coordinate the work regarding the notes.
  • Develop and drive improvements in the group's processes and routines.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have a solid foundation in accounting and feel confident in your craft. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and responsible. You take initiative, look for solutions rather than problems, and adapt easily to change. Your good communication skills and social demeanor will come in handy, as you will have many contact points both within and outside the organization in this role. Being a positive and unpretentious team player who collaborates well with others and helps out where needed is second nature to you. We offer an exciting role in a growing company where you will have great opportunities for development.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Economics or Finance.
  • Several years of experience in accounting or auditing, as well as previous experience with consolidation.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written, as we are an international group.
  • Experience with Navision (meritorious).
  • Experience with Power BI and good knowledge of Excel (meritorious).

We believe that all competence on the labor market should be utilized; we welcome all applicants and strive for diversity.

In this recruitment, SafetyRespect AB collaborates with Randstad Finance. Selection and interviews will take place after the summer holidays, starting in week 32. For information: Liza Dahlin, Recruitment Consultant, email: [email protected]
