Do you want to work closely with people with complex needs and contribute to structure, security, and development? Then apply for the position of Support Assistant in our daily activities.
Your Mission
The role involves being a support in everyday life and helping to create structure for the participants. You will work in a motivating and relationship-building manner. Together with the participants, you create a safe, inspiring, and meaningful environment where participation is the focus. The work also includes documenting and following up on the participants' development and progress. You collaborate closely with colleagues and other professionals to ensure holistic support for the participants. The position also includes traditional care tasks and some cleaning work as a natural part of the daily routine.
Workplace Description
We operate daily activities for people with disabilities and are now developing our work with a focus on psychiatry, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders.
In the activity, we create meaningful activities that can lead to wage employment.
Your Competence
We are looking for you who have relevant education in healthcare, social care, pedagogy, or another related direction. If you also have experience in psychiatric work, training in CM-RACt, and knowledge of evidence-based methods, these are seen as meritorious.
As a person, you are independent, structured, and have a solution-focused approach to work, and you can create engagement around tasks and operations. You work well with other people, listen, communicate, and resolve any conflicts in a constructive way. Furthermore, you have good pedagogical skills and understanding of people's different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge. You lead, motivate, and provide others with the authority needed to effectively achieve common goals. As a person, you are also good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work. You see the big picture and take into account the larger perspective, understand your role and mission, and look after the best interests of the entire operation. You are a good analyst who is good at seeing connections and solving complex questions and problems. In your role, you are meticulous and well aware of set goals and quality standards; you place great importance on delivering up to these. To thrive in the role, you need to be creative and have the ability to think outside the box – you see opportunities where others see obstacles.
A driver's license for a car is a requirement for the position, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
