Särnmark currently has over 3,500 employees, and our customers and employees are located throughout Sweden. Särnmark's headquarters are located in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.

We are now looking for personal assistants for customers living in Gävle and the surrounding area.

We are now looking for personal assistants for several different customers, both children and adults, with varying needs and disabilities.

What does the job involve?

As a personal assistant, you work where the customer is. This can be at home, at work, at school, during leisure activities, while traveling, or at other places where life is happening.

You help with what the customer needs support with to be able to live their life as independently as possible. The tasks vary depending on who you work for, but can include among other things:

• Personal hygiene
• Dressing and undressing
• Mobility and assistive devices
• Cooking, cleaning, and other household chores
• Accompanying to activities and social events
• Support in all the small and large moments of everyday life

Some customers also have medical needs where assistive devices and interventions such as tracheostomy, catheters, tube feeding, or other advanced care may be required. You will receive the introduction and training required for the assignment.

The form of employment is primarily a needs-based employment, but in some cases, it can be for a fixed period as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the wage form is hourly wages. Working hours vary based on the customer's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays and weekends.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the Collective Agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
