We are now looking for an experienced and engaged personal assistant for a man in his 50s in Gävle. He is an active person who enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and gardening, and he advocates for himself. He lives in a villa with his wife, children, and a cat.

The work involves providing support in daily life – personal care, household chores, cooking, and activities both inside and outside the home. You will also accompany the family on their activities, which requires flexibility and confidence in social situations.

Since the work includes assisted transfers, it is important that you have good physical fitness.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience in personal assistance or similar care work.
• Is an empathetic and responsible person who works meticulously.
• Has good physical fitness and thrives in a family environment.
• Speaks and understands Swedish fluently.
• Has the maturity the role requires.
• The position involves driving the client's car, so you need a valid B driving license.
• Is comfortable with having a cat in the home.
• Is flexible and can adapt to the family's daily life.

We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the position.

Working hours and extent of employment

Working hours vary and include daytime work and awake nights. New assistants start as hourly substitutes. For the right person, we can offer a scheduled part-time position.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.
