Personal assistance is fundamentally about commitment. A commitment to a person who needs help and support with everyday matters and situations that are often taken for granted.

We are now looking for dedicated assistants for a man living in central Hudiksvall. He needs help and support with everything related to his personal care, dressing and undressing, transfers with assistive devices, household management, shopping, training, communication, and all other activities that make up life.

Working hours are spread throughout the entire day and night, including awake night shifts.

Care and support are provided based on the individual's needs, integrity, and self-determination. You have a statutory and professional responsibility for specified tasks according to LSS (Act for Support and Service to Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and HSL (Health and Medical Services Act).

Social documentation, medication management, and other delegated medical care are included in the assignment.

Start date can be immediate or by agreement.

Interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Your Profile

We want you to work independently and feel secure working alone, as the job involves mostly solo work throughout the day and night. You also need to establish a good team spirit with the work group you are part of, as well as with the man's family and friends.

You have a professional attitude and put the user at the center. You are responsible, flexible, patient, and have good collaboration skills.

The work as a personal assistant can be demanding, so it is important that you take care of yourself to cope with shifts that can be physically and mentally challenging.

We would like you to be a flexible, straightforward, positive, and social person, with a twinkle in your eye and a good sense of humor.

Experience working with people in vulnerable situations is meritorious but not a requirement, as personal suitability is more important.

You should have basic knowledge of using computers and phones, as well as good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing.

Previous experience within healthcare and social care is preferred.
