Family Home Consultant Making a Difference for Children and Families!

Do you want to work in a role where you contribute every day to creating security and better future opportunities for children? We are now looking for an engaged Family Home Consultant who wants to be an important part of our work supporting foster homes and creating sustainable placements.

About the Role

As a Family Home Consultant, you play a central role in recruiting, investigating, and supervising foster homes. You follow the families throughout the entire placement period and serve as a secure support for both the foster homes and the commissioning parties.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Investigating and assessing foster homes.
• Providing support, supervision, and counseling to foster homes during ongoing placements.
• Participating in follow-up and collaboration meetings with municipalities and other partners.
• Planning and conducting training, lectures, and family activities.
• Contributing to creating the best conditions for children's development and well-being.
• Being involved in the matching process.

You work primarily from your home and largely plan your own working day. Travel is a natural part of the role as you regularly visit foster homes and attend meetings. During the introduction period, part of your training will take place at one of our offices.

Previous experience as a foster parent is considered an asset.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Social Work or a comparable higher education degree.
• At least 2–4 years of experience working within foster care services.
• A valid driver's license (Category B) and access to a personal car (mandatory). We offer a company car after 6 months.

Practical Information

• Probation period of 6 months, followed by a permanent full-time position.
• Start date according to agreement.
• You work from your home, and travel is included in the role.
• Flexible working hours apply, meaning you plan your own schedule. Work during evenings and weekends occurs based on operational needs.
