We are now looking for two preschool assistants (barnskötare) for two different preschools in the Brynäs-Nynäs preschool area.

Hammargården Preschool

Hammargården Preschool is a preschool with two departments located in the Brynäs district. Our area is centrally located in Gävle, which gives us fantastic opportunities to explore and discover what is in our immediate surroundings, such as parks, together with the children. The preschool is located in a green area protected from traffic. As a future employee, you will also have easy access to buses and trains.

Herrgården Preschool

At Herrgården Preschool, every child is everyone's child. All educators have different competencies that we want to make available to as many children as possible. The children's desire and curiosity are the starting point when we shape our operations. We work to create a permissive atmosphere and environment where all children are seen and listened to. Everyone's differences are an asset in our operations. We place great emphasis on having a pleasant climate that promotes cooperation in different groups and forms. Joy and laughter are important elements in our daily lives.

We use sign and picture support as tools to strengthen children's opportunities for communication and understanding. We use pedagogical documentation as a tool to make learning processes and changed knowledge visible in our operations. We are certified for School for Sustainable Development.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged preschool assistant who wants to contribute to a safe, playful, and educational daily life for the children. You are present, collaborate well, and are passionate about creating good relationships.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• working together with your colleagues to be responsible for the pedagogical work with children aged 1-5 years
• constantly working to create a safe, secure, and educational environment that attracts and challenges the children to play, activities, and learning
• participate in planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of the operations according to decided goals and guidelines
• working for a good health-promoting and accessible environment for care, play, physical activity, development, and learning

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• have completed upper secondary education
• are trained as a preschool assistant (barnskötare)
• are familiar with the preschool curriculum and other steering documents
• have good linguistic and communicative skills in Swedish, both in speech and writing.
