About the job

Around 370 students attend our school, from preschool class to grade 9. Approximately 90–100 children also participate in our after-school activities. We are a multicultural school where our differences are seen as strengths, and where a positive and dynamic atmosphere prevails.

At Iggesunds School, we work in teams consisting of teachers, teaching assistants, and after-school staff.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility to teach English in grades 7-9 and who enjoy working in teams where you together support and guide students in their learning and development.

Depending on needs and competence, the position may be expanded by adding more tasks to the role.

Responsibilities:

Teach English and English as a subject choice in grades 7-9, and otherwise perform the tasks included in the teaching profession. Collaboration, student focus, and relationship building are key keywords.

Eligibility:

Licensed teacher with eligibility in English grades 7-9.

About the administration

We teach children to read, calculate, and discover the world. Here we follow our youngest residents from preschool until they graduate from high school. Through our adult education, one can learn Swedish as a second language, read individual courses, or take a longer education. With joy, engagement, participation, and on a scientific basis, we want to increase knowledge, creativity, development, and the desire to learn. With us, all children, young people, and adults should feel that they can, want to, and dare! Together we are the Learning Administration – part of Hudiksvall Municipality.
