Our school has approximately 185 students and 20 employees. We offer quality after-school care at our leisure center. For the older students, there is a youth club at the school.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to contribute competence, development, and support to students' learning? Are you driven by the desire to inspire and challenge both educators and students? Great! Then we want you to apply for the position of Special Educator at Hedesunda School! Come and shape the future of Hedesunda's children together with us!
As a Special Educator, you are a support in the school's preventive and health-promoting work. You represent the Student Health Team and collaborate with teachers in identifying students' needs. You follow up on assessments conducted in various classes together with teachers and collaborate with the principal and other staff from the Student Health Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
- A teaching degree and teaching license, as well as further education as a Special Educator with a specialization in language, writing, and reading development.
- Knowledge of the curriculum for primary school as well as for preschool class and leisure center.
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Experience working with digital tools, for example, documentation in Unikum or Office 365.
To succeed in the role, you are:

- Relationship-building, take initiative in social contexts, and have the ability to create trust in your professional relationships.
- Collaborative and have an egalitarian approach in your cooperation with colleagues, students, and guardians.
- A clear leader who demonstrates secure leadership, naturally motivating students and creating an environment where they thrive and feel good. You have a good ability to create open dialogue and adapt your language to the situation and target group.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE
Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months, start date: 2026-08-12. Possibility of extension, end date: 2026-12-31.
